Since forming in 2008, Philadelphia rockers Flightschool have steadily earned larger venues up and down the east coast via their energetic live performances. The four-piece blends straight rock with blues and jam influences anchored by a two-headed guitar attack. Buckle up for a set of inspired originals with a wingspan from the 70s prog of ELO to the more current sounds of the Artic Monkeys.

Flightschool released its debut EP back in 2014 which  they recorded at the Red Planet Recording in Lansdowne, PA.  "City Limits", the first track on the EP, was featured in Relix Magazine along side Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's "Hypnotic Eye".

In August of 2014, Flightschool made its debut performance at the Allman Brother's Peach Music Festival in Scranton PA sharing in the festivities with Bob Weir & Ratdog, the Trey Anastasio Band, Victor Wooten, the Taj Mahal Trio, Warren Haynes, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, Lotus, Grey and Mofro, and many more amazing artists.

In 2015, the boys have been back at the Red Planet hard at work on their first full length album- release date to be determined.  

On November 25th 2015, the band collaborated with Dock Street Brewery for a single release party at the Theatre of Living Arts on South Street in Philadelphia.  Flightschool's "Review" and Dock Street brewed a pale ale titled"Little Chicken" the title of another single off their LP- yet to been released.
